Our clinic is driven by compassion, honesty and excellence. We understand every child has different needs and we work endlessly to ensure your child is not only comfortable in our office, but enjoys the entire dental process. We believe that trust is the first essential step in building a relationship with your healthcare provider. We don’t consider our patients customers, but rather a part of our extended family. Lastly, it is our mission to provide the highest quality of dental care in the safest environment. Dr. Mike and his staff have extensive training and the office has more than 50 years of shared dental experience. We are blessed and privileged to serve this wonderful community!
The Administrative Team
Diana has worked in pediatric dentistry over 5 years. She started as an expanded functions dental assistant and has transitioned to the front office overseeing all day-to-day operations. Prior to dentistry she served our country for 8 years in the Army where she also met her husband. She is a devoted mother to 4 beautiful children that keep her very busy. In short, Diana is an unbelievable multi-tasker and will work endless hours to make sure your child’s dental visit is the very best. She loves country music and almost everything Chicago, especially "Da Bears."
Ashley was born in Denver and raised in Littleton. She is no stranger to the medical field and spent 9 years as a surgical technician. She has 3 young boys and one wonderful big boy / husband. We are all a little confused how she maintains such perfect composure, especially when dealing with insurance companies. She enjoys family time and crochet. She spoils our office with wonderful food and she will spoil you with her wonderful personality and smile.
Therese has been in the dental field for over 22 years with the majority of that time spent in Grand Junction. Her current home is now Elizabeth where one of her favorite past times is sitting on the back porch with a cup of coffee enjoying Colorado’s wildlife. Another equally favorite past time is daydreaming about insurance plans also with a cup of coffee. She is blessed with an amazing husband, two incredible sons and 3 beautiful grandchildren. She has a great sense of humor and works extremely hard to provide best possible service.
The Clinical Team
Kari grew up in Colorado Springs and lives right here in Castle Rock with her husband and 3 beautiful kids. Kari previously spent time in general dentistry and orthodontics before moving to pediatrics. In fact, her 3 kids were patients of Dr. Mike’s before she decided to join the “CRKD” team. Some of her passions include soccer, the Broncos and college basketball. She is also very involved in local activities, sports, and schools. The office is extremely fortunate to have someone like Kari and it would be a minor miracle if you escaped one of her appointments without a smile on your face.
Tawnya is a Colorado native and lives in Castle Rock. She joined our team with over 19 years of dental assisting experience and is an amazing restorative assistant. She is the mother of 5 kids, 3 dogs and 1 cat. In addition, she is the vice president of My Fairy Dawg Mother Rescue. You are likely to find her at a variety children’s sporting events cheering on her kids, shopping at Kings Soopers or at an 80s hair band concert. Her quick wit, contagious laugh and compassionate personality are just a few reasons so many people love her.
Michelle is originally from California, but Colorado has now become her new love. After all, she has lived here more than 10 years. She is the proud mother of 3 amazing boys, one of whom served a period of time in the United States Army. She is also blessed with an amazing husband who is also an amazing cook. Surrounded by boys, she has found some solace in her baby girl Bella, an Australian Sheppard which we believe scored a perfect score on the SAT. Michelle is also passionate about teaching and you may find her at your school one day giving a dental presentation.
Janel is another one of our Colorado natives with overflowing love for the Rocky Mountains and Castle Rock. Her life is centered around her husband and 4 beautiful children. Her love for dentistry and her compassion for others makes her a perfect fit for pediatric dentistry. Beware, she has a lot of energy and likes to talk, but she will do whatever it takes to make your dental experience the very best.
Pam was born in Peru and moved to New Jersey when she was 10 years old. She joined the Army after high school and served 3 years in Germany. Sprechen sie deutsch? No, but she speaks Spanish! She is also an animal lover with two beloved dogs. Her wonderful husband is a police officer and their life joy is their beautiful daughter. Pam has an amazing ability to connect with people and is determined to make every dental visit amazing.
Julie grew up in Denver in a large family with 7 siblings. She quickly learned the art of survival and "how to get along" which makes her invaluable when working with so many different people. She is blessed with an awesome husband and has 2 teenagers which add to her "relaxing" home front. Before entering the dental world, she spent over 20 years working in the preschool and childcare fields. Her heart is a big as her smile and your child will find much comfort when Julie is around.
Brandi joined CRKD in 2019. She graduated from Concorde Career College and has been in the dental field since 2007. Originally from the great state of Texas, she has lived in Colorado since 2001. Some say everything is bigger in Texas and that might reflect Brandi’s outgoing, fun personality. She has an amazing ability to connect with the most anxious children (and parents) and this is one reason we are so excited she is part of our team. When not working in the dental office, she cherishes time with her amazing husband and son and two lovable dogs. Other things she enjoys are camping, playing disc golf and reading books. There is no doubt you will enjoy working with Brandi as much as she enjoys serving this great community of Castle Rock.
Meg has been working in the pediatric dental world since 2014 and recently joined our team in 2019. Meg moved from the East Coast to Castle Rock. Her “east coast personality” is hard to notice because she is always happy, smiling and one of the most courteous and professional individuals you will ever meet. She is dual trained to work both front and back office so there is a good chance you will cross paths with her during your child’s dental visit. When she is not in the office, you can find her cheering on her son’s baseball games, attending musical theater productions with her twin daughters (or just blasting music at home and singing and dancing along.) Her beautiful family is topped off with the best husband ever and we are so blessed Meg is part of our team.
